emmy adores her daddy almost as much as i do!

She is so very very chubby :) We love every single roll.

I miss my mom and dad more than i can explain...These pictures made it a little worse :) But they are doing so so good. They sound so happy each time we talk to them.

They will just be so shocked next time they see emmy.

My dear mother made all of the bedding, drapes, blankets, and pillows. She even helped me redo the dresser and mirror.

She is beyond busy with everything she has going on in her own life, but she has spend hours on end to help me and make sure we are ready for emmy.

Bubba had a birthday!

22 years old :)

I know there is an 8 on his cake, i forgot the candles...

For bubba's b-day i planned something a little silly. And I'm sure i loved it way more than him but we had fun!

He always teases me about never taking him to a dance in high school so, I made up our own little 'dance'.

I know its rather cheesy but it was fun to keep it a secret and surprise him! We just went to my parents pond and had dinner, i even made him dance to George Strait with me :) Ha oh i loved it!

And i think he did too! He was smiling the whole time.

A few weeks ago we had a visitor from the West Indies! He is a member of the church in Trinidad that Bubba had the chance to become really good friends with while on his mission.

He is so entertaining! He even cooked dinner for us one night which Bubba was ecstatic about!

His story is amazing.

So amazing that i didn't believe him at first, then he showed me 'his book'. It's a scrapbook with all of the letters, pictures, newspaper articles etc. That prove is all true.

He was here in America working the Miss Universe Show in Vegas! He is an incredible artist. He designs by hand these beautiful dresses on dolls for the girls. They really are incredible.

Summer Fun!

I found my camera cord! Here are a couple pictures of what we've been up to so far this summer!

We went camping with Bubba's family and decided to get a tent for it. Bubba was so excited that he couldn't wait to put it up outside the next morning when it was light outside sooo....our living room was barly big enough to sqeeze it in. Ha ha what a dork! :)

We were watching Heidi's boys a few weeks ago and her sweet little guy fell asleep right at the table eating his cheese and crackers...it was so cute i had to snap a picture....oh i love him so.

One of my favorite things this summer is our new puppy! We love our Gibbs so much! He's a caucker spaniel, poodle mix.

Finally a little update...

for all of those special people out there who care about whats goin on in my little life! :)

I really feel like i do have quit a lot to share, lots of changes, and adjustments going on in our new journey together!

I Loved loved loved the smoothies, so did Bubba, we got our money's worth, or at least we tried to.

We decided that when guest's don't drink alcohol, they become incredibly cheap for the resort, so we really put alot of effort into getting our money out of it in every other way we could :) I think we did alright!

Well...its been almost two and a half weeks of marital bliss :) I really have loved it! You know what the best part is, and I'm sure there are many that will agree with me, I don't have to leave to go home every single night! No more drowsy driving, or trying to stay awake til he gets home safe. Its just jump in bed and enjoying being next to him through the night!

Wonderful.

We are happy.

Oh! I burnt my first dinner last night! ha ha, and my dear hubby was so nice about it.
I love him.

Our home is starting to come together. We've worked so hard on it, so its nice to finally feel like its paying off! It starts really feeling like a home...our home. :) Playing house is sure fun!

What will make you happy?!

Imagine it was a sunny day and the weather is just perfect. Not too hot and not too cold. You find yourself having a picnic with Jesus. Your topic strays to contentment. He then asks you, “What will make you happy, my child?”

It was a tough question. What will be that one thing that can make you truly happy that once you have it, you will not want anything else? What is that ONE thing that will satisfy you enough that even though you get beaten by the daily problems in life, at the end of the day you can still say ‘It’s alright. It doesn’t matter. I have this ONE thing anyway’? What is that ONE thing that will inspire you to do wonderful things and to keep you smiling for the whole day?

I could say -

Money will make me happy… but I could spend it all on clothes and shoes that in one week I will have nothing left in my bank account;

Supportive family and great friends will make me happy…We could go out and talk all the time. But they have their own lives too. After some time, they will move on and I have to face my problems on my own;

A good job will make me happy… but how long can I put up with the stress that comes with a high paying job?

Getting my ambition will make me happy… but how do I know that what I want is right for me?

In the end, my answer will be –

You will make me happy my Lord. Please come into my heart. Please guide me as a shepherd does with his lamb. With you, I can do anything. I can be anything.

As of today.....One more month everybody! Wow...i truly cannot wait. I'm gonna take that as a good sign though. I am so excited to be his eternal companion, there are no words to describe :) We are completely in love :) Hope it stays this way forever!

I really hope this smile never leaves my face....and it really is a hard thing to do when i'm lookin at him, there are moments (not often but they do come) when he can make me so angry then it drives me nuts that i can't keep a straight face when he looks at me....

We are happy tho, if we can make it through wedding planning we can make it through anything.

Let me walk you through my experience. Here we go... I arrive at the Sturdevant home, they decorated so cute! My nerves increased the second I saw the sign...it was really happening.We waited patiently at the airport, for the big entrance.
Truly thankful for these girls...they are so very nice to me. I love you all!FINALLY! There he is! Can you see him? left side, black suit, extremely handsome :)

The next morning my darling friends went out to breakfast at 6 am :) ha ha we can never wait to hear the story! Thanks for your support, I adore each of you entirely, Love you!

I've had the chance to spend more time with him than I could have ever hoped for...Hope the Sturdevant's know how grateful I am for them sharing him with me, I hope they're not sick of me yet either! Its meant the world to me though, I love this boy :) and he is finally home...So good to have him. I'm so proud of him, He's incredible.

I am completely consumed with happiness, I'll tell you what...

Wow...what a weekend. I am so blessed to be a part of such an incredible church. My dad was released as the stake president today and a new stake was formed. We had the privilege of having Elder Holland of the Twelve as our presiding authority, as well as Elder Carlson a new member of the 70. Their words are so powerful. There is no denying they are led by the spirit. A few of my favorite...

Warm Springs

Last week or so we went to the coolest place in Nevada, no not Vegas, this beats it :) Its just outside of Overton, in Moapa i think it was, but it's called Warm Springs. The water is beautiful they've made this really fun pool that they fill with the water from the spring, and obvioulsly...it Warm! So fun! There was also this stream that ran around the whole thing that we walked/swam down. It was beautiful.

Massage Therapy Academy

So...I adore massage school. I honestly can't get enough of it. I'm attending the Massage Therapy Academy here in St. George. Its an incredible school, organized so well, and my instructors are very good at what they do. I respect and look up to the owner of the school so much. Its an old house on the Boulevard that they have turned into a school. Inside every room is a different color! Its so fun! I love this place! It inspires me! I love what i get to learn everyday!
